Approach
Katie Leander Counseling is committed to bringing a faithful, gospel-centered perspective to the troubles we face. Taking into account the weaknesses of our bodies, the unique struggles of our communities and the temptations of our hearts, I will help you process and walk through suffering and find hope and healing.
Counseling is currently offered to individuals and couples via telehealth only.
The Counselor
Katie Leander has over 15 years of experience compassionately counseling individuals, couples, families, children and teens. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, having lived among and worked with Spanish-speakers both in the U.S. and Central America. Her particular interests and expertise include adoption and foster care, cross-cultural issues, trauma, anxiety, anger, women's struggles including sexuality, grief and depression. She currently counsels teens and adults via telehealth. Katie received a B.A. in Romance Languages from Dartmouth College and a M.A. in Counseling from Westminster Theology Seminary. She completed an internship followed by 10 years as a contract counselor at CCEF (Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation).
